Tools don't work in ArcMap but do in ArcCatalog

I have used a few tools in ArcMap that either produce the "999999" amiguous error or it says they work however produce an empty raster. The odd thing to me is that these tools work just fine in ArcCatalog. They ran fine in ArcMap probably a few weeks ago.

Any ideas?

I have run into problems with Spatial Analyst: Kriging, Contour, Aspect, and Slope tools.

I'm using ArcGIS Desktop 10.0.
