Dear All,
I hope this is the correct place to post this query; please advise or re-route if not.
I am working with a road network data set which hasn't been clearly defined in terms of its direction. The only way to identify this would be to somehow select the attributes by the direction in which it was digitised (which seems to be correct).
Does anyone know of a method where you can select the relevant records by digitised direction? Ideally, and this may present some anomalies, I would like to select by its orientation based on the British National Grid (N,E,S,W). I understand this would not always be consistent, but if using start and end node to determine the angle a ball park figure could be achieved.
If you are able to provide any guidance or have any alternative methods which I could use, then I would be most grateful.
Thanks!
