I am trying to take information collected in the field and add it to an existing point file.
The issue here is that the data collected in the field may not be spatially correct, thus, would like to add this data to my "known" point file.
The field data has the ID of the spatially correct point.
Is there a way to amend / add the attributes from the field data to the correct position or move the collected point to the known position?
Ultimately I plan to write an Add-In to this, but would like to do it manually initially to ensure that the whole process is working correctly.
Any thoughts?
